Greetings! It is my pleasure to welcome you to the beautiful City of Coalinga, the Sunny Side of the Valley!

Coalinga is a full service City made up of an Administration Department, Transit, Risk Management, Economic Development, Code Enforcement and City Beautification, a Municipal Airport, a Police Department with in-house dispatch services and animal control services, a Fire Department with Emergency Medical Services, a Financial Services Department, a Community Development Department with in-house Building Services, and a Public Works and Utilities Department that not only oversees the City’s water treatment, waste water, street services, but also the City’s own natural gas system which is a great benefit to the wonderful citizens of our community.

Within Coalinga, we have a community college district, quality schools, a library that offers a wide array of activities, low crime rates, quality housing, a museum and recreational activities.

I invite you to check out one of our key community events such as the Annual Horned Toad Derby which takes place over Memorial Weekend, the Wham-O-Bass Hot Air Balloon Festival, our Annual National Night Out celebration, Coalingafest, or one of the Shift S3ctor races.

The City of Coalinga is very business friendly and customer service oriented and we would love for you to visit, open a business or make Coalinga your new home.
