City of Coalinga Offers 24/7 Assistance for Deceased Animal Removal in Public Areas
COALINGA, CA – November 3, 2025 - The City of Coalinga offers around-the-clock assistance to remove deceased animals found in public spaces, including streets, sidewalks, parks, and other public rights-of-way within city limits.
Residents may call the Coalinga Police Department non-emergency line at (559) 935-1525, extension 1 anytime. A dispatcher will send the appropriate responder.
When to Call
• Deceased animal on public streets or alleys
• Deceased animal on sidewalks, parks, or other public rights-of-way
Note: This service does not cover removal of personal animals on private property.

• 24/7 dispatch at (559) 935-1525, ext. 1.
• Safe, respectful handling in accordance with health and safety protocols.

Emergencies
For live or injured animals or wildlife posing an immediate danger, call 9-1-1.
