Public Hearing for the Pleasant Valley Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plan

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Government Code Section 6066, Water Code Section 10730 and the California Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA), a public hearing on the draft Pleasant Valley Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) will be held by the Pleasant Valley Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022 in the Harris Ranch Belmont Room, located at 24505 West Dorris Ave in Coalinga, CA.  

The Pleasant Valley Subbasin draft GSP is now available on-line at the GSAs’ websites and hard copies have been available for review at the following locations since Monday, November 1, 2021: 

The Pleasant Valley Subbasin GSAs will consider all written comments received before and up through the public hearing from beneficial users of groundwater or local stakeholders. Written comments can be submitted directly to the Pleasant Valley GSA before January 31, 2022. To submit written comments prior to the public hearing, please email them or mail to Pleasant Valley GSA, PO Box 468, Coalinga, CA 93210.  Oral and written comments will also be accepted at the Public Hearing on February 3.
