The Police Department was founded in 1927. Over the past 90+ years, the department has faithfully served the Community in good times and bad. Coalinga's Police Department has many firsts in its history. Coalinga is most known for hiring the first female police chief in the State of California, Kay Holloway.
Coalinga PD has a tradition of service and innovation. We celebrate a rich history and look forward to many more years of community service.
