National Night Out 2025

National Night Out is a nationwide community-building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Each year, millions of neighbors across all 50 states, U.S. territories, and military bases participate in block parties, festivals, cookouts, youth activities, and visits from emergency personnel to help strengthen community spirit and trust.

In Coalinga, National Night Out has become a cherished tradition — and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever!.

Free School Supply Giveaway for Coalinga Students (Grades K–12)

As part of our celebration, the City will be distributing free school supply kits to Coalinga students entering grades K–12 to help prepare them for a successful academic year. We strive to give away over 500 complete school supply kits in 2025!

Each kit will include essential items such as:
• Backpack
• Refillable water bottle
• Ruler
• Notebook
• Pack of crayons
• Pack of markers
• Pack of colored pencils
• Glue stick
• Pack of pencils
• Pack of pens
• Eraser
• Two folders

Upon check-in, students will receive a bingo-style card that guides them to participating booths throughout the event. Each booth hosted by a local business or community organization — will provide one or more school supply items. This interactive approach helps students collect their full kits while encouraging families to engage with local resources, community groups, and small businesses.

The City of Coalinga invites local businesses, organizations, and community groups to join us in making this year’s National Night Out a night to remember! Whether you serve delicious food, want to hand out school supplies, or offer a refreshing treat on a warm summer evening this is a great opportunity to connect with the community and be part of a meaningful event.

If you are interested in being a vendor please fill out the vendor application and submit it to info@coalinga.com or drop of the completed application with all required documents to City Hall at 155 W. Durian. 

Please note: The City of Coalinga reserves the right to deny applications based on activity type, price range, space availability, electrical needs, incomplete applications, or failure to obtain a valid City business license.
